TT 1:120 | Gothic Gabled House "Peenstraße 50", Anklam (approx. 1925) – Highly Detailed Kit
Historic Architecture in the "Middle Gauge" – End the Plastic Monotony!
Peenstraße 50 in Anklam is a prime example of proud North German gable architecture. This model captures its appearance around 1925 and brings the striking, Gothic-inspired facade directly to your TT layout. Since the selection of sophisticated architectural models in 1:120 is often limited, this kit offers a welcome change from industrial mass-produced goods.
Highlights for TT Model Railroaders:
-
Precision in Detail: Sharp-edged brick structures and delicate window frames that stand out particularly plastically thanks to 3D printing.
-
Scale Accuracy: Exactly 1:120 – suitable for all common TT rolling stock from Tillig, Piko, Kühn & Co.
-
Character Model: Constructed with great attention to detail based on historical originals from my hometown of Anklam.
-
Material: High-quality PLA (in grey or white, depending on availability – the ideal base for your colour scheme).
Compact Dimensions, Big Impact:
-
Width: 7.0 cm
-
Height: 14.8 cm
-
Depth: 9.7 cm
Despite the more compact TT scale, the impressive gable height is retained, making the building an ideal focal point in your town design.
Tips for Your Craft Workshop:
The unpainted kit (39 parts) is excellent for working with and individualizing:
-
Paint & Finish: The matte surface perfectly accepts common model paints (e.g., Revell, Vallejo, Tamiya). For the finest details in 1:120, we recommend working with thin layers of paint or an airbrush.
-
Assembly: For bonding, please use superglue or special PLA glue. (Important: Conventional polystyrene plastic glue is not suitable).
-
Preparation: As with any small-series model, minimal adjustments for a perfect fit may be necessary – this is part of the authentic model-building experience!
